Barangay Lower Natimao-an

Barangay Lower Natimao-an is a small barangay in the municipality of Carmen, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lower Natimao-an had a population of 1,524. This made it the 17th largest of 21 barangays in Carmen by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Lower Natimao-an accounted for approximately 2.63% of the total population of Carmen, which stood at 57,897 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Lower Natimao-an changed from 1,241 to 1,524, a shift of +22.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Carmen. Barangay Lower Natimao-an is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Carmen is a municipality comprising 21 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lower Natimao-an, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
