Barangay Santo Niño

Barangay Santo Niño is a large barangay in the municipality of Carmen, located in the province of Davao Del Norte, in the Davao Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Santo Niño had a population of 6,210. This made it the 4th largest of 20 barangays in Carmen by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Santo Niño accounted for approximately 7.57% of the total population of Carmen, which stood at 82,018 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Santo Niño moving from 5,784 residents to 6,210 residents, an intercensal change of +7.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Santo Niño as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
