Barangay 3 (Pob.)

Barangay 3 (Pob.) forms part of Casiguran, a municipality in Aurora, and is classified as a very small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 3 (Pob.) had a population of 239. This made it the 24th largest of 24 barangays in Casiguran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 3 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.90% of the total population of Casiguran, which stood at 26,564 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 235 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 239 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.7%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay 3 (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Casiguran is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 3 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Aurora, which contains 151 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay 3 (Pob.) ranks 149th by 2020 population. The next Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) are scheduled for Monday, November 2, 2026, with officials serving four-year terms under Republic Act No. 12232.
