Barangay 6 (Pob.)

Situated in Casiguran, Aurora, Barangay 6 (Pob.) is one of 24 barangays that make up the municipality within Central Luzon.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay 6 (Pob.) had a population of 254. This made it the 23rd largest of 24 barangays in Casiguran by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay 6 (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.96% of the total population of Casiguran, which stood at 26,564 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay 6 (Pob.) changed from 325 to 254, a shift of -21.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in Casiguran. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay 6 (Pob.) as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Casiguran is a municipality comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 6 (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
