Barangay Inoburan

Situated in Catubig, Northern Samar, Barangay Inoburan is one of 47 barangays that make up the municipality within Eastern Visayas.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Inoburan had a population of 155. This made it the 47th largest of 47 barangays in Catubig by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Inoburan accounted for approximately 0.48% of the total population of Catubig, which stood at 32,174 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Inoburan changed from 129 to 155, a shift of +20.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Catubig. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Inoburan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Catubig is a municipality comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Inoburan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Northern Samar, which contains 569 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Inoburan ranks 564th by 2020 population.
