Barangay Dansulan

Barangay Dansulan forms part of City of Bais, a city in Negros Oriental, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Dansulan had a population of 1,076. This made it the 27th largest of 35 barangays in City of Bais by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Dansulan accounted for approximately 1.28% of the total population of City of Bais, which stood at 84,317 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,168 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,076 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -7.9%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Dansulan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bais is a city comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Dansulan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
