Barangay Katacgahan

Barangay Katacgahan is a small barangay in the City of Bais, located in the province of Negros Oriental, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Katacgahan had a population of 1,350. This made it the 22nd largest of 35 barangays in City of Bais by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Katacgahan accounted for approximately 1.60% of the total population of City of Bais, which stood at 84,317 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Katacgahan moving from 1,390 residents to 1,350 residents, an intercensal change of -2.9%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
