Barangay Mansangaban

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Mansangaban is one of the administrative divisions of City of Bais in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mansangaban had a population of 1,296. This made it the 24th largest of 35 barangays in City of Bais by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Mansangaban accounted for approximately 1.54% of the total population of City of Bais, which stood at 84,317 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Mansangaban changed from 1,244 to 1,296, a shift of +4.2% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Bais. Barangay Mansangaban is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bais is a city comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mansangaban, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
