Barangay Tamisu

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Tamisu is one of the administrative divisions of City of Bais in Negros Oriental, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tamisu had a population of 3,827. This made it the 5th largest of 35 barangays in City of Bais by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Tamisu accounted for approximately 4.54% of the total population of City of Bais, which stood at 84,317 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tamisu moving from 3,514 residents to 3,827 residents, an intercensal change of +8.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tamisu is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
