Barangay San Vicente

Barangay San Vicente is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Bislig, located in the province of Surigao Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Vicente had a population of 2,694. This made it the 9th largest of 24 barangays in City of Bislig by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay San Vicente accounted for approximately 2.71% of the total population of City of Bislig, which stood at 99,290 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Vicente moving from 2,490 residents to 2,694 residents, an intercensal change of +8.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay San Vicente is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bislig is a city comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Vicente, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
