Barangay Tumanan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Tumanan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Bislig in Surigao Del Sur, Caraga, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tumanan had a population of 1,021. This made it the 19th largest of 24 barangays in City of Bislig by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Tumanan accounted for approximately 1.03% of the total population of City of Bislig, which stood at 99,290 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Tumanan moving from 851 residents to 1,021 residents, an intercensal change of +20.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Tumanan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Bislig is a city comprising 24 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tumanan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
