Barangay Hebacong

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Hebacong is one of the administrative divisions of City of Borongan in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Hebacong had a population of 280. This made it the 56th largest of 61 barangays in City of Borongan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Hebacong accounted for approximately 0.39% of the total population of City of Borongan, which stood at 71,961 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Hebacong moving from 262 residents to 280 residents, an intercensal change of +6.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. Barangay Hebacong is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
