Barangay Pepelitan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Pepelitan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Borongan in Eastern Samar, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Pepelitan had a population of 943. This made it the 26th largest of 61 barangays in City of Borongan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Pepelitan accounted for approximately 1.31% of the total population of City of Borongan, which stood at 71,961 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Pepelitan moving from 950 residents to 943 residents, an intercensal change of -0.7%. The trajectory indicates a broadly stable community.
