Barangay Purok F (Pob.)

Barangay Purok F (Pob.) is a very small barangay in the City of Borongan, located in the province of Eastern Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Purok F (Pob.) had a population of 256. This made it the 59th largest of 61 barangays in City of Borongan by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Purok F (Pob.) accounted for approximately 0.36% of the total population of City of Borongan, which stood at 71,961 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 319 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 256 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -19.7%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Purok F (Pob.) is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Borongan is a city comprising 61 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Purok F (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
