Barangay Gulod

Barangay Gulod forms part of City of Cabuyao, a city in Laguna, and is classified as a very large barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Gulod had a population of 17,215. This made it the 8th largest of 18 barangays in City of Cabuyao by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Gulod changed from 14,611 to 17,215, a shift of +17.8% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Cabuyao. Barangay Gulod is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cabuyao is a city comprising 18 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Gulod, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Laguna, which contains 681 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Gulod ranks 45th by 2020 population. Barangay Gulod is governed by an elected Sangguniang Barangay composed of a Punong Barangay and seven kagawads, with the Sangguniang Kabataan representing the youth. The next BSKE, set for Monday, November 2, 2026, will elect officials to four-year terms as provided under Republic Act No. 12232.
