Barangay 2 Pob.

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay 2 Pob. is one of the administrative divisions of City of Cadiz in Negros Occidental, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay 2 Pob. had a population of 7,724. This made it the 7th largest of 22 barangays in City of Cadiz by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay 2 Pob. accounted for approximately 4.87% of the total population of City of Cadiz, which stood at 158,544 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 8,977 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,724 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -14.0%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay 2 Pob. is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Cadiz is a city comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay 2 Pob., including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Negros Occidental, which contains 662 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay 2 Pob. ranks 87th by 2020 population.
