Barangay Aguit-itan (Pob.)

Barangay Aguit-itan (Pob.) is a mid-sized barangay in the city of City of Calbayog, located in the province of Samar, in the Eastern Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Aguit-itan (Pob.) had a population of 2,648. This made it the 18th largest of 157 barangays in City of Calbayog by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Aguit-itan (Pob.) accounted for approximately 1.42% of the total population of City of Calbayog, which stood at 186,960 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Aguit-itan (Pob.) moving from 3,069 residents to 2,648 residents, an intercensal change of -13.7%.
