Barangay Bonuan Boquig

Barangay Bonuan Boquig is a very large barangay in the City of Dagupan, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Bonuan Boquig had a population of 15,351. This made it the 3rd largest of 31 barangays in City of Dagupan by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Bonuan Boquig accounted for approximately 8.81% of the total population of City of Dagupan, which stood at 174,302 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 14,354 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 15,351 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +6.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Bonuan Boquig is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Dagupan is a city comprising 31 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Bonuan Boquig, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
