Barangay Aseniero

Barangay Aseniero forms part of City of Dapitan, a city in Zamboanga Del Norte, and is classified as a mid-sized barangay.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Aseniero had a population of 2,098. This made it the 16th largest of 50 barangays in City of Dapitan by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Barangay Aseniero is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Dapitan is a city comprising 50 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Aseniero, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
