Barangay Tinulongan

Classified as a very small barangay, Barangay Tinulongan is one of the administrative divisions of City of Gingoog in Misamis Oriental, Northern Mindanao, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Tinulongan had a population of 357. This made it the 67th largest of 79 barangays in City of Gingoog by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Tinulongan accounted for approximately 0.26% of the total population of City of Gingoog, which stood at 136,698 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 424 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 357 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -15.8%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay Tinulongan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Gingoog is a city comprising 79 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Tinulongan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
