Barangay Alapan I-A

Classified as a large barangay, Barangay Alapan I-A is one of the administrative divisions of City of Imus in Cavite, CALABARZON, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Alapan I-A had a population of 14,097. This made it the 8th largest of 97 barangays in City of Imus by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Alapan I-A accounted for approximately 2.84% of the total population of City of Imus, which stood at 496,794 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 13,639 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 14,097 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +3.4%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Alapan I-A as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Imus is a city comprising 97 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Alapan I-A, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
