Barangay Alapan I-B

Barangay Alapan I-B is a large barangay in the city of City of Imus, located in the province of Cavite, in the CALABARZON region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Alapan I-B had a population of 8,314. This made it the 15th largest of 97 barangays in City of Imus by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Alapan I-B accounted for approximately 1.67% of the total population of City of Imus, which stood at 496,794 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Alapan I-B changed from 7,352 to 8,314, a shift of +13.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Imus. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Alapan I-B as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Imus is a city comprising 97 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Alapan I-B, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
