Barangay General Paulino Santos

Barangay General Paulino Santos is a very large barangay in the City of Koronadal, located in the province of South Cotabato, in the SOCCSKSARGEN region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay General Paulino Santos had a population of 23,242. This made it the 1st largest of 27 barangays in City of Koronadal by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay General Paulino Santos accounted for approximately 11.89% of the total population of City of Koronadal, which stood at 195,398 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 24,612 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 23,242 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -5.6%, consistent with a contracting settlement. Barangay General Paulino Santos is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Koronadal is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay General Paulino Santos, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
