Barangay Mabini

Situated in City of Koronadal, South Cotabato, Barangay Mabini is one of 27 barangays that make up the city within SOCCSKSARGEN.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Mabini had a population of 4,057. This made it the 21st largest of 27 barangays in City of Koronadal by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Mabini accounted for approximately 2.08% of the total population of City of Koronadal, which stood at 195,398 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 3,871 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 4,057 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.8%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Mabini is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Koronadal is a city comprising 27 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Mabini, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
