Barangay Bato II

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Bato II is one of the administrative divisions of City of Maasin in Southern Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Bato II had a population of 515. This made it the 60th largest of 70 barangays in City of Maasin by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Bato II accounted for approximately 0.59% of the total population of City of Maasin, which stood at 87,446 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 518 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 515 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of -0.6%, consistent with a broadly stable settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Bato II as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
