Barangay Central (Pob.)

Classified as a very large barangay, Barangay Central (Pob.) is one of the administrative divisions of City of Mati in Davao Oriental, Davao Region, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Central (Pob.) had a population of 34,947. This made it the 1st largest of 26 barangays in City of Mati by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Central (Pob.) accounted for approximately 23.69% of the total population of City of Mati, which stood at 147,547 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Central (Pob.) moving from 36,485 residents to 34,947 residents, an intercensal change of -4.2%.
