Barangay Agtambo

Barangay Agtambo is a small barangay in the City of Passi, located in the province of Iloilo, in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Agtambo had a population of 1,146. This made it the 33rd largest of 51 barangays in City of Passi by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Agtambo accounted for approximately 1.29% of the total population of City of Passi, which stood at 88,873 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Agtambo changed from 1,147 to 1,146, a shift of -0.1% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with broadly stable populations in City of Passi. Barangay Agtambo is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Passi is a city comprising 51 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Agtambo, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
