Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy

Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy is a small barangay in the city of City of San Carlos, located in the province of Pangasinan, in the Ilocos Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy had a population of 1,791. This made it the 53rd largest of 86 barangays in City of San Carlos by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy accounted for approximately 0.87% of the total population of City of San Carlos, which stood at 205,424 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 1,656 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,791 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +8.2%, consistent with a growing settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Carlos is a city comprising 86 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Paitan-Panoypoy, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
