Barangay Pangoloan

Barangay Pangoloan forms part of City of San Carlos, a city in Pangasinan, and is classified as a small barangay.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Pangoloan had a population of 1,539. This made it the 65th largest of 86 barangays in City of San Carlos by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. The barangay recorded 1,523 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 1,539 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +1.1%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Pangoloan as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of San Carlos is a city comprising 86 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Pangoloan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
