Barangay San Juan

Barangay San Juan is a large barangay in the city of City of San Fernando, located in the province of Pampanga, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Juan had a population of 5,712. This made it the 27th largest of 35 barangays in City of San Fernando by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay San Juan accounted for approximately 1.61% of the total population of City of San Fernando, which stood at 354,666 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Juan changed from 4,587 to 5,712, a shift of +24.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of San Fernando. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Juan as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of San Fernando is a city comprising 35 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Juan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Pampanga, which contains 538 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay San Juan ranks 117th by 2020 population.
