Barangay Camindangan

Situated in City of Sipalay, Negros Occidental, Barangay Camindangan is one of 17 barangays that make up the city within Western Visayas.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camindangan had a population of 7,737. This made it the 1st largest of 17 barangays in City of Sipalay by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Camindangan accounted for approximately 10.68% of the total population of City of Sipalay, which stood at 72,448 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 7,419 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 7,737 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +4.3%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Camindangan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
