Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.)

Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.) is a large barangay in the City of Tabaco, located in the province of Albay, in the Bicol Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.) had a population of 5,544. This made it the 4th largest of 47 barangays in City of Tabaco by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.) accounted for approximately 3.93% of the total population of City of Tabaco, which stood at 140,961 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,530 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,544 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +0.3%, consistent with a slowly expanding settlement. Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.) is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Tabaco is a city comprising 47 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.), including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Albay, which contains 720 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Santo Cristo (Pob.) ranks 23rd by 2020 population.
