Barangay Gobgob

Barangay Gobgob is a mid-sized barangay in the city of City of Tabuk, located in the province of Kalinga, in the CAR region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Gobgob had a population of 2,251. This made it the 20th largest of 43 barangays in City of Tabuk by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Gobgob accounted for approximately 1.86% of the total population of City of Tabuk, which stood at 121,033 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Gobgob moving from 1,943 residents to 2,251 residents, an intercensal change of +15.9%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Gobgob as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
