Barangay Nambaran

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Nambaran is one of the administrative divisions of City of Tabuk in Kalinga, CAR, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Nambaran had a population of 4,254. This made it the 7th largest of 43 barangays in City of Tabuk by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Nambaran accounted for approximately 3.51% of the total population of City of Tabuk, which stood at 121,033 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Nambaran moving from 3,751 residents to 4,254 residents, an intercensal change of +13.4%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Nambaran as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tabuk is a city comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Nambaran, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
