Barangay Naneng

Situated in City of Tabuk, Kalinga, Barangay Naneng is one of 43 barangays that make up the city within CAR.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Naneng had a population of 778. This made it the 41st largest of 43 barangays in City of Tabuk by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Naneng accounted for approximately 0.64% of the total population of City of Tabuk, which stood at 121,033 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 691 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 778 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +12.6%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Naneng is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tabuk is a city comprising 43 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Naneng, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Kalinga, which contains 153 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Naneng ranks 104th by 2020 population.
