Barangay Biasong

Barangay Biasong forms part of City of Talisay, a city in Cebu, and is classified as a large barangay.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Biasong changed from 6,482 to 10,418, a shift of +60.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Talisay. Barangay Biasong is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Talisay is a city comprising 22 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Biasong, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cebu, which contains 1,203 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Biasong ranks 53rd by 2020 population.
