Barangay San Agustin Sur

Barangay San Agustin Sur is a large barangay in the City of Tandag, located in the province of Surigao Del Sur, in the Caraga region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Agustin Sur had a population of 5,921. This made it the 4th largest of 21 barangays in City of Tandag by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay San Agustin Sur accounted for approximately 9.45% of the total population of City of Tandag, which stood at 62,669 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 5,485 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 5,921 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +7.9%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay San Agustin Sur is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.
