Barangay Binauganan

Barangay Binauganan is a large barangay in the City of Tarlac, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Binauganan had a population of 5,791. This made it the 20th largest of 76 barangays in City of Tarlac by population, placing it in the upper half of the city. Residents of Barangay Binauganan accounted for approximately 1.50% of the total population of City of Tarlac, which stood at 385,398 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Binauganan changed from 4,498 to 5,791, a shift of +28.7% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Tarlac. Barangay Binauganan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Tarlac is a city comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Binauganan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Tarlac, which contains 511 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Binauganan ranks 47th by 2020 population.
