Barangay Buenavista

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Buenavista is one of the administrative divisions of City of Tarlac in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Buenavista had a population of 1,517. This made it the 68th largest of 76 barangays in City of Tarlac by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Buenavista accounted for approximately 0.39% of the total population of City of Tarlac, which stood at 385,398 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Buenavista changed from 1,249 to 1,517, a shift of +21.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Tarlac. Barangay Buenavista is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tarlac is a city comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Buenavista, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
