Barangay Lourdes

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Lourdes is one of the administrative divisions of City of Tarlac in Tarlac, Central Luzon, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Lourdes had a population of 2,888. This made it the 45th largest of 76 barangays in City of Tarlac by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Lourdes accounted for approximately 0.75% of the total population of City of Tarlac, which stood at 385,398 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 2,649 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 2,888 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Lourdes is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Tarlac is a city comprising 76 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Lourdes, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
