Barangay Cabitoonan

Barangay Cabitoonan is a large barangay in the City of Toledo, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cabitoonan had a population of 5,483. This made it the 13th largest of 38 barangays in City of Toledo by population, placing it in the middle tier of the city. Residents of Barangay Cabitoonan accounted for approximately 2.64% of the total population of City of Toledo, which stood at 207,314 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Cabitoonan changed from 4,154 to 5,483, a shift of +32.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in City of Toledo. Barangay Cabitoonan is officially classified as urban, reflecting the density and built-up character of the area.

City of Toledo is a city comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cabitoonan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
