Barangay Camp 8

Barangay Camp 8 is a mid-sized barangay in the City of Toledo, located in the province of Cebu, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Camp 8 had a population of 2,237. This made it the 31st largest of 38 barangays in City of Toledo by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the city. Residents of Barangay Camp 8 accounted for approximately 1.08% of the total population of City of Toledo, which stood at 207,314 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Camp 8 changed from 2,529 to 2,237, a shift of -11.5% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with contracting populations in City of Toledo. Barangay Camp 8 is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

City of Toledo is a city comprising 38 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Camp 8, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
