Barangay Cabog

Barangay Cabog is a small barangay in the municipality of Clarin, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Cabog had a population of 1,074. This made it the 8th largest of 24 barangays in Clarin by population, placing it in the upper half of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cabog accounted for approximately 5.08% of the total population of Clarin, which stood at 21,158 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Cabog moving from 839 residents to 1,074 residents, an intercensal change of +28.0%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Cabog as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
