Barangay Candajec

Barangay Candajec is a small barangay in the municipality of Clarin, located in the province of Bohol, in the Central Visayas region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Candajec had a population of 661. This made it the 14th largest of 24 barangays in Clarin by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Candajec accounted for approximately 3.12% of the total population of Clarin, which stood at 21,158 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Candajec moving from 1,061 residents to 661 residents, an intercensal change of -37.7%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community.
