Barangay Cadcadir East

Barangay Cadcadir East is a small barangay in the municipality of Claveria, located in the province of Cagayan, in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Cadcadir East had a population of 651. This made it the 19th largest of 41 barangays in Claveria by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Cadcadir East accounted for approximately 2.04% of the total population of Claveria, which stood at 31,900 in the same census year.

The barangay recorded 597 residents in the 2015 intercensal count and 651 residents in the 2020 Census — a net change of +9.0%, consistent with a growing settlement. Barangay Cadcadir East is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Claveria is a municipality comprising 41 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Cadcadir East, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Cagayan, which contains 820 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Cadcadir East ranks 673rd by 2020 population.
