Barangay Datablao

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay Datablao is one of the administrative divisions of Columbio in Sultan Kudarat, SOCCSKSARGEN, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay Datablao had a population of 3,731. This made it the 2nd largest of 16 barangays in Columbio by population, placing it among the most populous barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Datablao accounted for approximately 11.13% of the total population of Columbio, which stood at 33,527 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Datablao changed from 3,189 to 3,731, a shift of +17.0% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Columbio. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay Datablao as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Columbio is a municipality comprising 16 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Datablao, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration. Within the wider province of Sultan Kudarat, which contains 249 barangays across its component cities and municipalities, Barangay Datablao ranks 76th by 2020 population.
