Barangay Masadya

Barangay Masadya is a very small barangay in the municipality of Concepcion, located in the province of Romblon, in the MIMAROPA Region region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Masadya had a population of 182. This made it the 9th largest of 9 barangays in Concepcion by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Masadya accounted for approximately 5.11% of the total population of Concepcion, which stood at 3,561 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay Masadya moving from 252 residents to 182 residents, an intercensal change of -27.8%. The trajectory indicates a contracting community. Barangay Masadya is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
