Barangay San Bartolome

Barangay San Bartolome is a mid-sized barangay in the municipality of Concepcion, located in the province of Tarlac, in the Central Luzon region of the Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay San Bartolome had a population of 2,415. This made it the 31st largest of 45 barangays in Concepcion by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Bartolome accounted for approximately 1.42% of the total population of Concepcion, which stood at 169,953 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay San Bartolome changed from 2,113 to 2,415, a shift of +14.3% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Concepcion. Barangay San Bartolome is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Concepcion is a municipality comprising 45 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay San Bartolome, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
