Barangay San Miguel

Classified as a mid-sized barangay, Barangay San Miguel is one of the administrative divisions of Cordova in Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Census of Population and Housing conducted by the Philippine Statistics Authority, Barangay San Miguel had a population of 4,015. This made it the 10th largest of 13 barangays in Cordova by population, placing it in the middle tier of the municipality. Residents of Barangay San Miguel accounted for approximately 5.69% of the total population of Cordova, which stood at 70,595 in the same census year.

Census comparisons between 2015 and 2020 show Barangay San Miguel moving from 3,642 residents to 4,015 residents, an intercensal change of +10.2%. The trajectory indicates a growing community. The Philippine Statistics Authority classifies Barangay San Miguel as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.
