Barangay Alojipan

Classified as a small barangay, Barangay Alojipan is one of the administrative divisions of Culasi in Antique, Western Visayas, Philippines.

According to the 2020 Philippine census, Barangay Alojipan had a population of 501. This made it the 33rd largest of 44 barangays in Culasi by population, placing it among the smaller barangays of the municipality. Residents of Barangay Alojipan accounted for approximately 1.13% of the total population of Culasi, which stood at 44,494 in the same census year.

Between the 2015 and 2020 censuses, the population of Barangay Alojipan changed from 462 to 501, a shift of +8.4% over the five-year period. This places the barangay among those with growing populations in Culasi. Barangay Alojipan is officially classified as rural, a designation applied to barangays with lower population density and predominantly non-built-up land use.

Culasi is a municipality comprising 44 barangays, and serves as the governing unit directly responsible for local services in Barangay Alojipan, including public health, sanitation, peace and order, and civil registration.
